If you're into Astroboy, then make sure you turn on those boosters and fly on down to Robio. Named after the robot racer from an Astroboy episode, this newly opened shop is loaded with fun stuff, designer lifestyle items and fashion.
Starting life as an online store, Robio owners Narelle and siblings Ben and Emma, felt they needed a real world presence so people could come in and have a play. Robio's secret is in the mix, which Narelle describes as "Randomly Cool things". They only stock products which they themselves are fond of. "If we get stuck with anything, we would just keep em for ourselves".

Browsing the shelves of Robio is like tripping through the history of pop-culture. From Mr T's jive talking key-ring, ALF (google it kids), through to Napolean Dynamite dolls and Quagmire's love couch bank. Emma's personal favourites are the Cool Stereo Bags. Just plug in your portable audio player and liven up any Beach party / BBQ with tunes blasting out from the in-built speakers. They also double as an Esky. Style included batteries sold separately. Toy collectors will be stoked to know that they can get their hands on Kid Robot figures from America.

Robio even has their own range of own range of "Robio Pixellated" badges starring your arcade icons from Pacman and Puzzle Bobble. But stay tuned as they plan to bring out more products in the near future.
