Vintage at its best :D
Retrostar Lvl 1 Cathedral Arcade, 37 Swanston St, Melbourne
Retrostar isn't exactly easy to find, it's in an arcade two floors up. The walk and the trouble trying to find it are all worth it when you get there. It's colourful and filled to the brim with amazing finds. Authentic vintage clothes everywhere, band t-shirts, various accessorizes, great prices, friendly staff and VERY POPULAR. Retrostar has a relaxed and fun atmosphere, its very inviting and what you can find there is amazing. Good quality shopping there (:
Pop culture!
Minotaur Pop Culture Megastore 121 Elizabeth Street, Melbourne
This place is amazing! It's like an underground comic and pop culture shop. Reasonable prices for merch, manga, cds, comics, dvds and more. It has a very relaxed and laid back atmosphere, in many ways it reminds me of a library. Hardly anyone talks, all busy with reading or searching for the right Manga. They have a great selection and i would recommend this to any comic lover, manga lover or pop culture lover!
Pricey!
Chocolate Buddha Federation Square, 2 Swanston st
This place had a great layout, the interior design is rather funky and has a laid back mood. It isnt the easiest to spot and the food isn't all that amazing. It's rather pricey and the food could improve in taste.
The food presentation is very good, all served with cute little modern kitchen wear. Staff is very helpful and friendly, if you haven't been there before it's probably best to bring someone who has along or ask for assistance while making an order.
