The Hub of late night coffees

No matter what time of the day you walk by this coffee spot, there will always be a crowd of people at the front with their coffee and ciggarettes.

The cafe is always packed in the evenings with Asian students and to get a place, you may have to wait for a bit. But even if your friends think that the coffee there isn't top notch, noone can deny that its location is what makes it such a hot place to hang out. The clusters of people are usually either mostly girls having their nighttime gossiping sessions and guys love to hang out there just to check them out.

The only thing I wouldn't recommend about the place is the food that they serve. It's not that it doesn't taste good, but I find that if you go there in the morn, noon or night, the stuff looks the same. So perhaps for the health of your stomach, it may be better to stick with the freshly brewed coffees and beers instead. There are days that the workers fire up the oven for some woodfire pizza. At least that you know is freshly prepared.

All in all, this is my pick for the coffee spot to be at nights or even in the evenings. It's in the city centre overlooking swanston and there's always interesting characters around. Better yet, the workers are friendly and fast. Much better than many Chinatown coffee spots!
