Bad Boy Burgers

It's dissapointing that BBB uses super hard burger buns on healthy burgers.
The food is great -- when they get it right. The staff are great -- if they answer the phone. The delivery service is great -- when they finally arrive. I'm so torn. I love the food, but the last three times I've ordered, they've either screwed up the order (massively; beef pattie instead of a vegie) or taken an hour to arrive. Tonight was the last straw. I called to order burgers: No answer of the phone between 7:00 and 7:15, and when they *did* answer I was told to call backs. So, tonight I'll be eating a Royal with Cheeze from Mojo's to satisfy my burger craving instead. Damn.
Regarding the previous comment, I think that Bad Boy's sauces are delish. American, aoli, dijon mayo, etc, absolutely beautiful. Just branch out and you'll find the right one. Man, I know too much about the place! I've become a bit of a regular there and I must say I'm impressed. As a uni student from the Hawthorn / Richmond area I regard myself as an expert in the way of more 'high brow' fast food and I reckon Bad Boy is kicking some serious Grill'd and BBNT arse. Great hangover cures (especially the 'Bad Boy' and the 'Country Boy').
For the benefit of "eyes wide shut" (posting below)BBB actually have 4 dipping sauces: dijon mayo, americana, soy mayo AND AIOLI (which IS garlic mayo). Try out the AIOLI next time, but I reckon their soy mayo rocks! All in all, Bad Boy is a standout, especially for those of us who are gluten intolerant where gluten free buns and patties are available.
I've had BBB's once and whilst I loved the veggies burgers on offer (yay for us veggies having a few different types like Urban Burger and Grill'd do) BUT YUCK soy mayonaise???? PLease people, get some creamy mayonnaise happening or garlic and/or herb mayos. Take a leaf out of Lord of the Fries, Urban Burger and Grill'ds book and offer us better sauces for dipping those delish crinkle cut chips.
Its arrived. Melbourne's newest burger sensation! This place seriously rocks. Destined to become a cult venue, Bad Boy without doubt produces the best gourmet burgers in Melbourne. Try the "Mad Boy" for the ultimate gourmet experience.
I've been back to BBB a number of times since my first review - and it just gets better and better. These guys actually listen to customer feedback. By far the best "healthy" burger bar around, and easily on par with Andrews. Good work Bad Boy!
You've got to check this out. We Richmond locals have long been overlooked when it comes to a decent burger. We are sick of every possible variant of Asian food. BUT ITS ALL CHANGED! I checked out Bad Boy in Bridge Road the other day, on the back of considerable local hype. I'd have to say that I've finally found my new local. I went with a Country Boy (described as an "Aussie Classic" - standard fare with beetroot, egg, and I added bacon for another buck). It was nothing short of magnificent - beautifully succulent meat, perfect runny egg and top notch fresh salad. The bun was a bit on the small side but I've been told that bigger and tastier buns are on their way - not that I could really complain. And crinkle cut chips are back - with a vengeance!!! I'd forgotten how good these are, and the Bad Boy ones seem to be better than I remember. In the words of a famous Richmond local, "do yourself a favour" and get down there - well worth checking out.
