Hwarro intense meaty experience

Hwarro was a bit of a journey to hell. It is so smokey with all the Korean BBQs everywhere. Our meal was 8 kinds of meat. Our poor vegetarian mate got two mushrooms to grill.

I kinda feel like the manager might have ripped me off as he wouldn't show me the bill at the end of the birthday party I had there. Everyone was drunk and it was like he just picked some arbitrary number.

Finally it was a bit annoying they had run out of seafood.

Nice decor but poor food

My friends and I went to check out this restaurant after reading good reviews online. I am a massive fan of korean culture and food.

My Review-
FOOD: Food was over priced and portions small. Kimchi was over fermented
DECOR: I really liked the open decor of the restaurant.
SERVICE: Good but the was given wrong food

I expected this restaurant to be full of korean but I only saw westerns and was told by my friend that korean no longer goes here because it is overpriced and low quality.

Poor Quality

Just been to this restaurant last night, the portion is small but the quality is still poor.

Meat is tough.

Personally I don't mind if restaurant give out small portion, if the quality is good.

But this is not the case

Never go back again

It was only Tuesday night and this place is packed. More than half the crowd here are made up of Koreans. I love the dining experience at Hwaro. The place is filled with lots of chatter and lovely aromas from the grilled meats! It was the perfect choice to catch up with old friends that has came back for a visit. I highly recommend this joint if you're a big Korean cuisine fan. A Korean friend of mine reckons the ambient of this BBQ restaurant resemble Korea. Visit blog
