Something for everyone

By milkboymedia on 04 Feb 08

I love that every time I visit Minotaur, there is a myriad of different people there. From Buffy bobble-heads to English underground indie comics, this place is a complete Mecca for anyone who has a passion for pop culture. And it's not just for the nerds. Minotaur has a huge DVD library, not to mention that they stock some of Melbourne's coolest and hard-to-find books, on anything from art, music, movies, burlesque, freaks and tattooing. From young to old, business men to punks to geeks, most everyone has a pop culture obsession, and the chances are that Minotaur caters for it.

Feed the Brain

By Vince on 07 Mar 07

Just like it's name suggests, Minotaur is a maze like labyrinth of comics, books, dvds, toys and all sorts of paraphernalia linked to pop and not-so-pop culture. Amongst the browsers there are people ranging from goths to desk jockeys on their lunch-break, all indulging in their private obsessions. There is just so much to lose yourself to in here.. I just like flicking through the comic books whenever I can, to feed the grey matter a healthy dose of creativity. It's also a great place to pick up presents. How about a Star Wars mug which commands you to "use the force"?
